About Me

For the past several years I have been working for a software company based in Rochester, NY, helping cultural sites build and launch mobile apps for their visitors. Project management is my specialty; I am obsessed with launching projects that make a difference, share stories, and meet the goals of my clients. My favorite projects include collaboration between clients, designers, developers, content producers and project partners. I understand that a strong, cross-functional project team is the key to success.

In addition to building and launching iOS and Android apps, I offer marketing support to help my clients promote their projects and I assist with the company’s marketing efforts. This includes contributing to the company’s blog and social media, event planning, exhibiting at conferences, planning and appearing in tutorial videos, media appearances, RFPs and more. I love what I do – so I love to talk about it!

I have a BA in journalism from The College at Brockport, State University of New York. While in college, I gained valuable experience through my involvement with various clubs and activities. I was a resident assistant, campus tour guide, staff writer for The Stylus student newspaper, and a member of the Public Relations Club, Phi Sigma Sigma and Inter-Greek Council. I also interned and volunteered for two local nonprofits, The National Kidney Foundation and The Women’s Foundation of Genesee Valley, helping with public relations, events, and marketing. After college, I briefly wrote articles for Examiner.com.

Although my family might accuse me of being a workaholic, I savor my downtime by practicing yoga, hiking with my family, traveling and blogging. I write a lifestyle blog about outdoor adventures, motherhood, and staying active. Check it out!
